What should hands-on agricultural training look like?

Precision farming can be explained on a screen, but it is learned in the field. In 2026 the project tested this approach through training of trainers, young farmer training, field visits and online modules.

If you took part in a training session, what was most useful to you? Do you learn better in the field, in a classroom or online? How do the timing, place and length of training affect who can attend, and what should change so that more women and young people take part? If you study agriculture, do you get enough time in the field?

Share your suggestions, and let's look together for ways to bring new technologies and climate adaptation into hands-on training.
