The Future Is in Farming

Technology in the Field, Life in the Countryside.

The Future Is in Farming: Digital Advocacy Hub is an online meeting place where young farmers and young activists share their views, messages and policy proposals for sustainable agriculture and the environment, and start discussions. It aims to introduce smart and precision farming through real experience, and to make visible the training, support and rural living conditions that farmers and young people need for these practices to spread. Blogs and discussions, advocacy documents, digital stories, videos and podcasts, and news of ongoing campaigns and local work are all brought together here.

Smart farming, strong future.Use water wisely, protect the future.Farmers' experience, young people's ideas: the future of farming.

1Technology in the field

Introduces practices such as smart irrigation, drones and weather stations, with explanations from experts. It looks at which technology answers which need, where to start, and what to watch out for after installation.
