Recordings of young people speaking in their own words are being collected for the campaign's one-minute video (Activity 18). This guide is for young people who want to make a short phone recording and send it in. The guide itself is in Turkish.
- What to film: 10-20 seconds of speech (look at the camera and say one thought in your own words; no need to memorise) and 2-3 short, silent shots (3-5 seconds each): your field, your irrigation, a tool you use, your crop, your village. If someone's face is in the frame, ask them for permission too.
- What to say: pick one of the questions below and answer in your own words. The questions follow the order of the campaign's five needs.
- Which practice would you like to see on site, in the field?
- On what subject do you need training or advice?
- Which technology can you not access, and why?
- What would you like to measure in your field, and which data would you like to use?
- In which decision should you have a say too?
- How to film: hold the phone upright; keep the camera at eye level; face the light; choose a quiet place; wait 2-3 seconds before you start and after you finish. Do not add filters, music, text or stickers.
- Where to send it: [email protected]. If the file is large, send a Google Drive or WeTransfer link; do not compress the video. Put your province and name in the file name (e.g. adana-ayse.mp4).
- Consent: ask the same address for the consent form and the personal data (KVKK) notice, fill it in and sign it; if you are under 18, a parent or guardian signs too.
Recordings are kept only with a signed consent form and in line with the personal data notice. To the extent consent allows, they may be used in the campaign's one-minute video together with real footage from the project and verified data; the meaning of your words is not changed, and subtitles are added.
